Wisconsin Highway 107 is short north-south highway in the middle of Wisconsin. It parallels US Route 51 (and Interstate 39) to the west. It runs from Tomahawk toward the south. Wisconsin Highway 107 begins at the business alignment of US Route 51 on the south side of the Tomahawk area, and from this point of beginning, Highway 107 hugs the east bank of the Wisconsin River until it reaches Merrill. When in Merrill, Highway 107 joins Wisconsin Highway 64 west across the river to a farm road that proceeds straight toward the south. This straight southward road carries Highway 107 through Marathon City, where it crosses the freeway carrying Wisconsin Highway 29. Seven miles beyond Marathon City, Wisconsin Highway 107 ends at Wisconsin Highway 153 west of Mosinee.
My photo of a route marker for Wisconsin Highway 107 shows the northern end marker near Tomahawk. The end marker appears next to a junction marker for the business route for US Route 51. This photo was taken in December 2017, on an impromptu weekend trip up to northeastern Wisconsin and back. Back to the Wisconsin main page. Back to the home page.
