^Wisconsin 114 continues west beyond its concurrency with US Route 10, headed for Menasha, September 2025.
Wisconsin Highway 114 is a short east-west highway along the north side of Lake Winnebago and reaching to some nearby communities. It is the main route through the downtown areas of Neenah and Menasha. The route starts off at an interchange with Interstate 41 near the northwestern part of Lake Winnebago. From this point, which is in Neenah, Wisconsin Highway 114 moves northeastward, deeper into the heart of Neenah. As it continues toward the northeast, it crosses a channel onto Doty Island, and then it crosses another channel off of the island into Menasha. In Menasha, Highway 114 turns eastward, since it is now far enough north to get around the northern side of Lake Winnebago. When it is due south of downtown Appleton, US Route 10 drops south to join Wisconsin Highway 114 eastward. In Harrison, US Route 10 splits away as Wisconsin Highway 114 turns southeasterly. It joins Wisconsin Highway 55 south through Sherwood, then bends easterly to independently aim for Hilbert. Hilbert is where Wisconsin Highway 114 ends, at Wisconsin Highway 32 and Wisconsin Highway 57 (they are concurrent).
My photo of a route marker for Wisconsin Highway 114 shows a guide marker at a bend in the road in Neenah. Eastbound drivers see this sign showing them they need to bend toward the left as they pass through the intersection with Manitowoc Street. This photo was taken a block east of Highway 47 in December 2017, on an impromptu weekend trip to northeastern Wisconsin. Back to the Wisconsin main page. Back to the home page.
