^Wisconsin 121 starts off toward the east from its origin at Wisconsin 88 in Gilmanton, July 2025.
Wisconsin Highway 121 is an east-west highway in west-central Wisconsin. It runs between Gilmanton and Alma Center, serving a variety of small towns. From its western end at Wisconsin Highway 88 in Gilmanton, Highway 121 heads east to join Wisconsin Highway 93 south into Independence. In that town, Highway 121 turns easterly to move onward independently to Whitehall. It joins US Route 53 northeastward to Pigeon Falls. In Pigeon Falls, Wisconsin Highway 121 splits off to continue eastward through an interchange with Interstate 94. After another seven miles, Wisconsin Highway 121 converges with Wisconsin Highway 95 as both of these eastward highways approach Alma Center. This junction with Highway 95 is where Wisconsin Highway 121 ends.
My photo of a route marker for Wisconsin Highway 121 shows the western beginning of the route, at Wisconsin Highway 88. This sign in Gilmanton is the first reassurance marker for eastward travelers. This photo was taken in July 2025, as I was making my way across western Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota. Back to the Wisconsin main page. Back to the home page.
