Wisconsin Highway 125 is a very short east-west route in Appleton. It follows College Avenue from the center of Appleton westward to Interstate 41. That western terminus is an interchange labeled as "Exit 137" on Interstate 41. The eastern end is at Richmond Street, which carries Wisconsin Highway 47. Wisconsin Highway 125 is only two and a half miles in length.
My photo of a route marker for Wisconsin Highway 125 shows a junction marker facing eastbound travelers on the roadway that will become Highway 125 once it passes Interstate 41. In other words, this is an eastbound junction for those approaching the interchange at Interstate 41 and Highway 125 from the west. This road is labeled as County Road CA west of the interchange, and this County Road CA ends so that Wisconsin Highway 125 can replace it. This photo was taken in December 2017 during a trip to northeastern Wisconsin. Back to the Wisconsin main page. Back to the home page.
