Wisconsin Highway 153 is an east-west route in small town areas of central Wisconsin. The route gets started at an intersection north of Spencer, at Wisconsin Highway 13. Highway 153 heads eastward from there to Stratford, where it crosses Wisconsin Highway 97. Next, the route heads for Mosinee, where it crosses the Wisconsin River and Interstate 39. Highway 153 keeps going to the east, crossing Wisconsin Highway 49 in Elderon. The last stretch begins here and lasts until the eastern end at US Route 45 south of Wittenburg.

My photo of a route marker for Wisconsin Highway 153 shows a westbound reassurance marker found by the interchange with Interstate 39. Those leaving the interchange toward the west know that they are moving westbound along Highway 153. This picture was taken in Mosinee in December 2017, on my way to northern and northeastern parts of Wisconsin.
