Wisconsin Highway 154 is a fairly short east-west highway in Richland and Sauk Counties, in Wisconsin. Because it is situated in the northeastern reaches of the Driftless Region, Wisconsin Highway 154 traverses many curved segments and hills. The route begins in Rock Springs, west of Baraboo. It starts by taking over as the westward thoroughfare in the area, while Wisconsin Highway 136 decides to abandon its westbound pathing for a jump toward the north. Highway 154 moves westward and southwestward past Loganville, and then past the northern end of Highway 130. After a little more than twenty miles, Wisconsin Highway 154 meets its western terminus at Wisconsin Highway 58, east of Richland Center.
My photo of a route marker for Wisconsin Highway 154 is the westbound junction marker along Wisconsin Highway 136 in Rock Springs. If you're stuck waiting for a train to clear the crossing ahead, why not stop and take a picture of the road signs (just don't put yourself in danger or get in anyone's way)? Those entering Rock Springs from the west on Highway 136 will see this sign as they approach the junction with Highway 154. This photo was taken as I was starting out on the trip across western Wisconsin in July 2025. Back to the Wisconsin main page. Back to the home page.
