^Looking west from the east end of Wisconsin 30 in the Madison area, December 2017.
Wisconsin Highway 30 is a short freeway spur in the Madison area. It begins at the interchange where Interstate 94 splits from Interstate 90 and Interstate 39, so it can continue east toward Milwaukee. Highway 30 stems westerly for a few miles from this point of origin (just under 3 miles). Proceeding westward, Highway 30 has a diamond interchange with US Route 51. After that, it ends at another interchange with US Route 151. The roadway continues west as Aberg Avenue. All of Highway 30 is within the City of Madison.
My photo of a route marker for Wisconsin Highway 30 shows instructions for northbound travelers on US Route 51. Thanks to this sign, people heading north into the interchange know how to reach the westbound lanes of Highway 30. This photo was taken in Madison in December 2017. The opportunity to take this photo occurred as I was traveling up to northeastern Wisconsin and back. Back to the Wisconsin main page. Back to the home page.
