Wisconsin Highway 311 is a short spur of Wisconsin Highway 11 meant to support a massive new industrial development with heavy state-level political support. It begins along Wisconsin Highway 11 just east of Interstate 94, and it moves southward for about two miles. The highway is only a couple years old, as of writing this in 2025. The southern end is at Wisconsin Highway 195, another newly-christened state highway, along the Kenosha-Racine County Line. All of Highway 311 is in Racine County, in southeastern Wisconsin.
My photo of a route marker for Wisconsin Highway 311 shows a southbound reassurance marker used by those turning off of the intersection with Braun Road. This intersection is halfway between the two endpoints of Highway 311. This photo was taken in April 2025, during a quick day trip to southeastern Wisconsin.
