^Wisconsin 79 continues north beyond Wisconsin 170 in Boyceville, July 2025.
Wisconsin Highway 79 is a pretty short north-south highway in western Wisconsin. It begins near Menomonie at US Route 12, and from there, it heads north through Boyceville. After encountering Wisconsin Highway 170 in Boyceville, it continues north to Wisconsin Highway 64. Wisconsin Highway 79 ends at Highway 64 in the unincorporated community of Connersville.
My photo of a route marker for Wisconsin Highway 79 is a set of guide markers in Boyceville. These guide markers are for northbound travelers on Highway 79 as they encounter Wisconsin Highway 170 for the first time. This photo was taken in July 2025 during my trip to western Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota. Back to the Wisconsin main page. Back to the home page.
