Ohio State Route 239 is a tiny north-south route on the west side of Portsmouth, Ohio. On the west side of the Scioto River, Ohio Route 104 heads southerly toward West Portsmouth. Ohio Route 73 soon joins from the west, and it heads south-southwesterly together with Ohio Route 104. As the two routes bend southeasterly toward Portsmouth, Ohio Route 239 is created to continue south-southwesterly. Ohio Route 239 runs for one mile, and then it ends at a 4-way intersection with US Route 52, right by the Ohio River.
My photo for Ohio State Route 239 signage shows southbound junction signage along Ohio Routes 104 and 73. Southbound travelers use this sign to anticipate the upcoming right turn onto Ohio Route 239. This photo was taken during an early phase of my trip to southeastern Ohio in March 2021. Back to Ohio Routes 200-299. Back to the Ohio main page. Back to the home page.
