^Wisconsin 102 continues north from the point where it cuts off Wisconsin 58, causing that highway to end south of Necedah, August 2020.
Wisconsin Highway 102 is a short route providing access to the village of Rib Lake, in north-central Wisconsin. It runs in Price and Taylor Counties, and it wraps around the southeast quadrant of the junction where Wisconsin Highways 13 and 86 meet. In other words, Wisconsin Highway 102 begins heading east from Highway 13, from a point south of Wisconsin Highway 102. Highway 102 runs through Rib Lake and curls northward to meet Wisconsin Highway 86. This intersection with Highway 86, east of Highway 13, is where Wisconsin Highway 102 ends. This northeastern end of Highway 102 is in the unincorporated place, named "Spirit".
My photo of a route marker for Wisconsin Highway 102 shows a junction marker announcing this route's upcoming appearance to those heading northward on Wisconsin Highway 13. The aperture looks north at a scene showing Highway 13, and the western end of Wisconsin Highway 102 is just north of here. This photo was taken in August 2020, on the way north to Ashland and then the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Back to the Michigan main page. Back to the home page.
