^Wisconsin 105 continues east out of Oliver, July 2025.

Wisconsin Highway 105 is a very short east-west route in Superior County, bringing people to a bridge across the St. Louis River. This bridge is found in Oliver, Wisconsin, and it is eight miles upstream (south) of the river's mouth where it empties into Lake Superior by Duluth, Minnesota. Wisconsin Highway 105 begins at Wisconsin Highway 35 in "Superior Village", a populated area five miles south of the heart of the City of Superior. From this point of beginning, Highway 105 heads west to Oliver. The route is just under five miles long, and it boards a bridge across the St. Louis River, out of Oliver and into Minnesota. The bridge has some sharp curves so that vehicles can fenagle their way onto what is primarily a railroad bridge. On this bridge, the top deck is occupied by a railroad, and a deck for automobiles is attached underneath that top deck. The west end of the bridge deposits automobiles onto Minnesota Highway 39, in a populated area known as "New Duluth" (this area has been annexed by the City of Duluth).

Wisconsin's DOT likes to put end markers side-by-side with junction markers for the intersecting route, and this assembly is no exception. This photo was taken in July 2025 during a trip to northwestern Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota.
