^Wisconsin 118 starts off toward the west from its eastern end at Wisconsin 112, August 2020.

Wisconsin Highway 118 is a very short east-west route near Ashland, in the northernmost reaches of north-central Wisconsin. Highway 118 begins several miles south of Ashland at Wisconsin Highway 112, and it heads westward for nearly seven miles. The western end of Wisconsin Highway 118 is at US Route 63, north of the small town of Mason. Highway 118 passes through no towns.

My photo of a route marker for Wisconsin Highway 118 comes from the eastern end at Wisconsin Highway 112. Northbound travelers on Highway 112 use the guide assembly depicted in the photo to identify the left turn onto the beginning of Wisconsin Highway 118. This photo was taken in August 2020, on a trip where I went north to Ashland before turning eastward across Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
