^Wisconsin 147 starts off toward the southwest with a trailblazer for travelers leaving Interstate 43, February 2022.

Wisconsin Highway 147 is a short route stemming from Interstate 43 at Maribel, and its objective is to run southeasterly into Two Rivers, Wisconsin. About halfway through its 15-mile route, it passes through the town of Mishicot. This is in an area near Lake Michigan, that's north of Manitowoc but south of Green Bay. The southeastern end of the route, in the heart of Two Rivers, is at Wisconsin Highway 42. This endpoint is just north of the eastern endpoint of Wisconsin Highway 310. As the Lake Michigan shoreline is within a mile of Wisconsin Highway 147's eastern end, there isn't really any potential for the route to continue further east.

My photo of a route marker for Wisconsin Highway 147 is a guide marker found in Two Rivers, and it appears just two blocks west of the eastern endpoint at Wisconsin Highway 42. For those starting out on Highway 147 westward, a turn toward the right onto a northwesterly road appears two blocks after the route's point of beginning. This sign faces east to help those people to recognize the right turn. This photo was taken in February 2022.
