Wisconsin Highway 310 is a short east-west highway helping people reach the town of Two Rivers, in east-central Wisconsin. Coming from the west, US Highway 10 jogs southward on Interstate 43, in an area just west of Two Rivers and Lake Michigan. However, the highway used by US Highway 10 west of here continues eastward, and it continues eastward as Wisconsin Highway 310. US Highway 10 abandons this alignment to jump south to another eastward alignment into the heart of Manitowoc, but Highway 310 stays north of Manitowoc to go eastward to Two Rivers. Highway 310 is about eight miles long, and its eastern end is at Wisconsin Highway 42 in the downtown section of Two Rivers. The eastern end of Highway 147 is several blocks to the north of this terminus.
My photo of a route marker for Wisconsin Highway 310 shows the eastern terminus at Highway 42 in Two Rivers. The aperture, and drivers taking advantage of this sign, faces north. Northbound drivers know that accessing Highway 310 requires a turn to the left thanks to this signage. This photo was taken in February 2022 during a trip all over eastern Wisconsin.
