Indiana State Route 237 is a designation to two north-south highways in south central Indiana. The northerly is a southern continuation of Indiana Route 37's main alignment through southern Indiana, as Indiana Route 37 suddenly diverts to another alignment farther west. The north-south alignment abandoned by Indiana Route 37 is picked up by the northern section of Indiana Route 237, and then it ends as Indiana Route 66 takes it over coming from Leavenworth to the east. The southern unrelated segment carrying the other piece of Indiana Route 237 starts at Indiana Route 37, and bypasses around the east side of Cannelton and Tell City to end at a bridge over the Ohio River, where it becomes Kentucky Route 69.
My photo of Indiana State Route 237 is the junction marker on Indiana Route 66 northwest-bound, approaching the point where the two routes cross at Cannelton. This is near the southern end of the southern segment. This junction marker was photographed during the tour of southwestern Indiana in April 2018.
