Indiana State Route 263 is a short north-south alternate to the Indiana Route 63 expressway, residing in Warren County, in west-central Indiana. Indiana Route 263 provides an alternate of Indiana Route 63 along the northern reaches of that route. Indiana Route 263 splits from Route 63 near Route 63's northern split from US Route 41, northwest of Williamsport and Attica; then it runs south through West Lebanon to run along the west bank of the Wabash River, ending back at Route 63 very near that route's junction with US Route 136.
My photo for Indiana Route 263 is at its only intermediate junction with another state route between its endpoints, at Indiana Route 28 at West Lebanon. The assembly depicted faces east toward westbound traffic on Indiana Route 28, where Routes 263 and 28 cross. I took this photo on the way to start out my grand tour of southwestern Indiana, during the tail end of April 2018. Back to the Indiana main page. Back to the home page.
