I am embarking on a trip to the east-central part of the United States! This includes new things I have never seen in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina! I am missing photos of 8 fully-realized Interstates (2, 11, 14, etc. can get out of here) in the Continental USA, and I am missing photos of 21 US Routes as well. After this trip, I will have 12 US Routes left and 4 Interstates left (plus the Hawaii Interstates...someday). I may finish the Continental United States' portion of my national collection by the end of this year--we'll see. After that, I will only have Hawaii and Alaska to accomplish!
Anyway, expect some new national-scale content later this spring! To see what US Routes and Interstates I HAVE encountered nationwide, click on "NATIONAL" at the top of your screen!

Interstates 380, 480, and 880 in Iowa now have exit lists with accompanying photos! Go check them out! I also added bonus photos to the Michigan Highway 58 page. Remember when I was adding more photos to the Michigan pages? I can start doing that again! I hope to continue to other pages for highways in other states to add more photos, once I get through Michigan.
I added more signage and signal follies to the Nope Springs Eternal page. Visit there to see a bunch of laughable mistakes I have noticed over the years.
I realized that the I-94 national page had an obsolete photo on it that I replaced. The I-94 national page has a new featured photo. I also updated some shield images on the National main menu page.
Interstate 235 and Interstate 280 have exit lists and photos now. The only remaining Iowa Interstate pages I need to update are now Interstate 380, Interstate 480, and Interstate 880. All other Iowa Interstate pages have full exit lists with photos!
I realized that I took some more new shield images in 2023 for pages that I still have yet to update! So I have caught back up on those. The five routes with new shield images have new photos taken within the state of Illinois. The national route pages with new photos are:You'll notice that the shield thumbnails have been updated as well. If those get replaced, the context photo on the page for that route needs to get replaced as well. I lost track of doing that!
My next recourse is to update the 3-digit Interstate pages in Iowa with exit lists and photos. When touring around Iowa in February, I took some new sign photos not just of Iowa's Interstates, but of other highways included in my national collection of photos. I have updated the pages for the following highways, each with a new photo: Also, did I mention that US Route 169 now has a page? That's one fewer 3-digit US route (3du) that's missing from my collection! I think I have about 20 left to encounter in the wild (I have encountered every 2-digit US highway already).
Note that none of these new photos for the national-scale photos were taken in Iowa itself. They were taken in Minnesota, Missouri, or Nebraska. Sorry, Iowa, but I don't want to take photos in your state showing your route markers. Not until you figure out how to stop making your numerals so narrow for no valid reason! However, my US Route 18 photo still shows an example of an Iowa US highway sign, in a needlessly narrow font series (and obviously, you can see a route marker photo of every numbered highway in Iowa on my Iowa area of the website). Hi everyone! In the past week, I have added to the Iowa Interstate pages. Now, all of the two-digit Interstates in Iowa have full exit lists with photos of every guide sign to the exit. I will add exit lists and photos to the three-digit Interstates in Iowa soon.
Introducing a new giant branch of the website: ALL OF THE ROUTES IN OHIO! A new state of full coverage joins the website! I now have every numbered route found in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan and Ohio represented with its own webpage! Ohio was a massive undertaking, requiring over 570 new webpages! I have been working on this since early fall of last year!
