Indiana State Route 245 runs from Dale to Santa Claus, then south toward Troy and Tell City, in southwestern Indiana. The northern end is at Indiana Route 62 in Dale, just south of Interstate 64. The southern end is at Indiana Route 70 just west of that route's eastern end; much of the traffic reaching Route 245's southern end probably turns east onto Route 70 to meet that route's eastern end, continuing east onto Indiana Route 66 toward Troy and Tell City. The entire route is within the bounds of Spencer County.
My photo for Indiana State Route 245 is the southern end marker at Indiana Route 70, west of Troy. The assembly depicted faces north, but is positioned at the southwest corner. My grand tour of southwestern Indiana gave me the opportunity to take this photo, and that was at the tail end of April 2018. Back to the Indiana main page. Back to the home page.
