Indiana State Route 246 is an east-west route just south and southeast of the Terre Haute area; this is where southwest Indiana meets west-central Indiana.  Indiana Route 246's western end is at Indiana Route 63 southwest of Terre Haute at Prairie Creek, and the eastern end is at Indiana Route 46 in Vandalia, just west of Spencer.

My photo for Indiana State Route 246 is the southbound guide assembly along US Route 41, where it meets Route 246. This is about ten miles south of Terre Haute, near Farmersburg. My grand tour of southwestern Indiana gave me the opportunity to take this photo, and that was at the tail end of April 2018.​
