My visit to Grand Teton National Park was just a cursory one--we hiked around Taggart Lake and then went north to Yellowstone. Grand Teton National Park lies in northwestern Wyoming, south of Yellowstone National Park. Grand Teton is home to some very majestic, tall mountains known as the Grand Tetons. The park is known for impressive mountain hikes and enjoyable lake hikes--the horizon of the clear lake provides a chance to view scenic mountain panoramas unobstructed. Skiing is also available in the colder months.
