Ohio State Route 658 is a short north-south route in northwestern Guernsey County. It begins just northwest of Cambridge at Ohio Route 209.  From there, Ohio Route 658 goes north, zigzagging through the hillsides.  The route ends at Ohio Route 541, at a point of termination west of Interstate 77 but southeast of Plainfield, Ohio.  Ohio Route 658 is only about 10 miles long.

My photo for Ohio Route 658 comes from the southern terminus at Ohio Route 209 near Cambridge.  The signage shown faces east for westbound travelers Ohio Route 209 seeking the right turn onto Ohio Route 658. If there was any doubt that we were looking west along Ohio Route 209, the trailblazer for Route 209 is there in the background.  This photo was taken along the northern extent of my trip around the southeastern quarter of Ohio in March 2021.
