Indiana State Route 362 is a short route poking due west from a north-south section of Indiana Route 62 in south-central Indiana. The eastern end at Indiana Route 62 is just north of New Washington, and Indiana Route 362 runs west from there, along the Scott/Clark County line, to a point along Indiana Route 3 southeast of Scottsburg and southwest of Lexington.  Indiana Route 362 runs three miles south of a part of Indiana Route 356; because both routes start with "3", one might confuse one route for the other.

My photo for Indiana Route 362 is at its junction with Indiana Route 203, less than a mile from the western end at Indiana Route 3. Indiana Route 203 runs northeast from here to the town of Lexington and beyond. The sign assembly depicted faces south toward the only leg of this four-way intersection that doesn't carry a marked state highway; Indiana Route 203 begins here and runs north into the background of this photo.
