^Northbound trailblazer for Iowa 187 as it heads away from US Route 20, near Masonville, July 2017.
Iowa Route 187 is an overall north-south route in northeastern Iowa, about halfway between Waterloo and Dubuque. The final northern end has a westward jog for about eight miles before the actual terminus at Iowa Route 150. That northern terminus at Iowa Route 150 is about five miles south of Fayette. The southern end is at US Route 20 east of Winthrop.
My photo of Iowa Route 187 is the southern end marker at US Route 20. The signage shown is just north of the northern pair of ramps at the diamond interchange connecting Iowa Route 187 to US Route 20. I took this photo facing south on July 1, 2017, during the latter part of my trip across eastern Iowa. Back to the Iowa main page. Back to the home page.
