Indiana State Route 229 is a north-south route in southeastern Indiana, extending from Batesville and Interstate 74 a little to the north and a little to the south. The northern end is at US Route 52 in Metamora, and the southern end is at Indiana Route 48 near Napoleon.

My photo for Indiana Route 229 is the southbound trailblazer coming off of the interchange with Interstate 74 in Batesville. Indiana Route 46 and Interstate 74 are so close to each other in the Batesville area that this trailblazer sits right next to the southbound junction marker for Indiana Route 46. This photo was taken in February 2017, on the way home from a trip portions of central and southwestern Ohio.
