Michigan Highway 216, located in southwestern Michigan, is a spur west to the town of Marcellus from US Route 131. The eastern end, at US Route 131, occurs about seven miles north of Three Rivers, Michigan. From that eastern end, Michigan Highway 216 runs nearly due-west for nine miles. The western end of Michigan Highway 216 is at Michigan Highway 40 in the heart Marcellus.
My photo of Michigan Highway 216 signage comes from the route's eastern end at US Route 131. Travelers heading north out of Three Rivers will notice this junction marker along US Route 131, announcing the upcoming left turn onto Michigan Highway 216. This photo was taken during a drive to Grand Rapids in February 2019.
