Ohio State Route 547 is a short route in western Huron County. US Route 20 heads west out of Norwalk with a northwesterly tilt; on the other hand Ohio Route 547 provides an alternative for those looking to head west out of the Norwalk area that drifts more toward the south. It does this until it reaches Ohio Route 269 at the county line, at least--that's the western extent of Ohio Route 547. The easternmost stretch crosses Ohio Route 99 in Monroeville, where it ends just a little farther ahead at Ohio Route 18 and US Route 20 (these two routes are concurrent).
My photo for Ohio Route 547 shows a trailblazer found in Monroeville. The sign in the photo is posted facing west, for eastbound travelers. I found it just a couple blocks west of Ohio Route 99. This photo was taken in October 2023, as I was driving around north-central Ohio.
