Ohio State Route 168 connects Burton to Parkman in southeastern Geauga County. Burton and Parkman are two small towns in northeastern Ohio. The northwestern end of Ohio Route 168, in Burton, is at Burton Square, in the center of town. Ohio Route 87 runs east-west around the Square, and Ohio Route 168 and Ohio Route 700 get started along the southern approach. Ohio Route 168 soon splits from the more southerly Ohio Route 700, so it can take a more southeasterly course. After about 8 miles, Ohio Route 168 enters Parkman. It joins Ohio Route 528 and Ohio Route 88 a block south to US Route 422, where Ohio Route 168 ends.
My photo of Ohio State Route 168 shows the first northbound trailblazer free of a concurrency, in Parkman. Ohio Route 168 turns westerly a block north of its southern end. The trailblazer shown is found at that westerly turn away from Ohio Routes 88 and 528. This photo was taken during the grand tour of northeastern Ohio, in October 2022. Back to Ohio Routes 100-199.
