Ohio State Route 730 is a short route poking southwesterly out of Wilmington, toward Blanchester. This is in southwestern Clinton County. The northeastern end of Ohio Route 730 is in downtown Wilmington at the main north-south thoroughfare through town, carrying US Route 68 and Ohio Route 134. Ohio Route 730 runs southwesterly from there, crossing the Cowan Lake Spillway. It nearly reaches Blanchester when it is cut off and terminated by Ohio Route 133, which carries traffic the remaining mile south to that town of Blanchester.
My photo for Ohio Route 730 was taken at the northeastern end in Wilmington. Travelers leaving the north-south main street through Wilmington will see this scene if they turn westward onto Ohio Route 730, which soon bends to the southwest. That main street carries US Route 68 and Ohio Route 134, as I mentioned earlier. This photo was taken in February 2017, as I was adventuring for sign photos down the Interstate 71 corridor southwest of Columbus.
