^Looking east toward the interchange with I-275 in Canton, Michigan, April 2021.
Michigan Highway 153 is an east-west highway on the west side of Metro Detroit. It is an arrow-straight boulevard from Dearborn west to the Ann Arbor area. Michigan Highway 153 follows Ford Road for its entire length. The western end is a junction with the Michigan Highway 14 freeway, which curves from easterly to northeasterly, leaving Michigan Highway 153 to continue easterly at Michigan Highway 14's former latitude. Michigan Highway 153 cruises through many of Detroit's western suburbs before ending in Dearborn, at a junction involving Interstate 94 and US Route 12.
My photo of Michigan Highway 153 hails from the highway's western end at Michigan Highway 14. The sign assembly gives you a western end marker for Michigan Highway 153 and a junction marker announcing the upcoming interchange with Michigan Highway 14. This somewhat crowded signpost faces east, just east of Ann Arbor. This photo was taken during the trip around Metro Detroit and the Michigan Thumb in April 2021.
