Ohio State Route 233 is a short route running southeasterly out of Oak Hill into the western reaches of Gallia County. This is in far southern Ohio. The northwestern end, in Oak Hill, is at Ohio Route 93, which is duplexed with Ohio Route 279 in the middle of that town. Ohio Route 233 goes east for one block before turning to the south. The highway progresses for 12 miles before ending at Ohio Route 141 near the unincorporated hamlet of Cadmus.
My photo for Ohio State Route 233 comes from a point in Oak Hill, one block east of its point of beginning at Ohio Route 93. At this point, Ohio Route 233 turns right onto a new street, as indicated by the guide marker shown. Ohio Route 233 is turning from easterly to southerly. This photo was taken on a rainy afternoon in March 2021, during my grand tour of the southeastern quarter of Ohio. Back to Ohio Routes 200-299. Back to the Ohio main page. Back to the home page.
