Indiana State Route 46 links Terre Haute, Bloomington, Columbus, Greensburg, and the Cincinnati area, making it an important east-west route across Indiana. It lies toward the southern extent of what I'd consider "central Indiana". The western end in Terre Haute is at US Route 40 and Interstate 70, where those two highways split up. The eastern end is at US Route 52, just north of Interstate 74 and only a few miles short of the Ohio state line.
My photo for Indiana State Route 46 is an eastbound trailblazer coming off the junction with Interstate 69 in Bloomington. This is probably the most prominent interchange in Bloomington. Note that this section of Indiana Route 46 through Bloomington also carries Indiana Route 45, on a concurrency. Back to the Indiana main page. Back to the home page.
