Indiana State Route 105 runs north-south in northeastern Indiana, west and southwest of Fort Wayne. As Indiana State Route 5 reaches South Whitley, it bends from a southerly direction into a southeasterly direction toward Huntington, Indiana; it is at this point that Indiana State Route 105 is created to continue in a more directly southerly direction. Indiana State Route 105 flanks Huntington to the west and ends southwest of that town, at the route heading southwesterly out of Huntington: Indiana State Route 9. This southern endpoint is about 5 miles north of Marion.
My photo for Indiana Route 105 comes from its northern end at South Whitley, Indiana. This northern endpoint occurs at one end of a concurrency between Indiana Route 5 and Indiana Route 14. The signage depicted faces south on the northeast corner of the intersection. Indiana Route 105 starts off by leaving this junction to the west and immediately bending southerly. This photo was taken along a clinch of Indiana Route 14 in October, 2022. I had an older picture of Indiana Route 105 along US Route 24, but I replaced it with this photo.
