Ohio State Route 306 runs north from Aurora to Mentor, in northeastern Ohio. As Ohio Route 43 heads south toward Aurora, it diverts onto a northwesterly road around downtown Aurora. The northward road continues as the southern beginning of Ohio Route 306. Ohio Route 306 heads north from there through the heart of Aurora, and it continues north through Bainbridge and Chesterland. Beyond that, Ohio Route 306 enters the northeastern reaches of the Cleveland suburbs, specifically Kirtland and Mentor. In the northwest corner of Mentor, Ohio Route 306 ends at Ohio Route 283.
My photo of Ohio Route 306 signage comes from the northwest corner of Ohio Route 306 and US Route 20, on Mentor's southwestern side. Traffic on US Route 20's westbound side will see this guide marker on the mast arm for the signal at the intersection. This photo was taken during the tour of northeastern Ohio in October 2022. Pay no attention to the "no pedestrians sign" posted above an actual sidewalk. I'm sure that's normal. Back to Ohio Routes 300-499. Back to the Ohio main page. Back to the home page.
