Ohio State Route 353 is a very short east-west route in southeastern Brown County. The route lies about five miles north of the Ohio River, stemming west from Decatur, Ohio. As Ohio Route 125 leaves the small town of Decatur toward the west, it immediately reaches a 4-way intersection home to two highway endpoints. As Ohio Route 125 turns right toward the north, Ohio Route 763 begins toward the south, and Ohio Route 353 begins toward the west. This is the eastern terminus of Ohio Route 353. Ohio Route 353 winds around in an overall westerly direction for about five miles. After those five miles, Ohio Route 353 ends at US Route 62, just north of where the US Route splits from US Route 68, north of Ripley.
My photo for Ohio Route 353 shows an eastbound trailblazer seen by those turning away from US Route 62. This is the first eastbound trailblazer at the west end of Ohio Route 353. This intersection shared between US Route 62 and Ohio Route 353 is north of Ripley, but south of Russellville. This photo was taken in October 2018, as I was touring around southwestern Ohio.
