Indiana State Route 109 is a north-south route from Anderson to Knightstown, east of Indianapolis. At an interchange Anderson, Indiana State Route 9 joins Interstate 69 west, and Indiana State Route 109 takes over the original alignment of Route 9 south out of Anderson.  Route 109 continues south to end in Knightstown at US Route 40, having just proceeded through an interchange with Interstate 70.
