Ohio State Route 347 is an east-west route in Union County, with the western end protruding into Logan County. The eastern end is at Ohio Route 37, alongside Magnetic Springs, Ohio. As Ohio Route 37's westward course turns northerly into Magnetic Springs, Ohio Route 347 continues westward. It crosses Union County, staying north of Marysville. The westernmost extent reaches an interchange with US Route 33 in eastern Logan County, but ODOT also labels the west frontage road south of here as part of Ohio Route 347, so that travelers on the state highway network can reach Ohio Route 287. The official end of Ohio Route 347 is south of that interchange, at Ohio Route 287 near Middleburg.
My photo of Ohio Route 347 shows the eastbound trailblazer at the intersection with Ohio Route 31 north of Maryville. The eastbound trailblazer reassures travelers turning off of Ohio Route 31 that they made the right decision (or maybe the wrong decision?). This photo was taken in October 2022, driving to Columbus to kick off the tour of northeastern Ohio. Back to Ohio Routes 300-499. Back to the Ohio main page. Back to the home page.
