Iowa Route 183 is a northeast-southwest highway in the Loess Hills region of west-central Iowa. It runs from Iowa Route 127 east of Mondamin, up to the small town of Ute, where the highway ends at Iowa Route 141. The pathing of Iowa Route 183 continues through Pisgah, Moorhead, and Soldier between its two endpoints.
My photo for Iowa Route 183 comes from the southern end at the junction with Iowa Route 127. The sign assembly depicted points west to show eastbound traffic on Iowa Route 127 where to turn. This photo came from my trip across southern and western Iowa in October 2021.
