Ohio State Route 835 is a short alternate to the US Route 35 freeway that loops and returns to it, in Beavercreek and the far eastern reaches of the City of Dayton.  The first full interchange along US Route 35 west of Interstate 675 is with Woodman Drive, and Ohio Route 835 begins by descending southerly from this interchange.  From this first stage along Woodman Drive, Ohio Route 835 turns easterly along Research Parkway.  Research Parkway makes a couple turns at intersections to continue along, but it carries Ohio Route 835 every step of the way.  The interchange where Fairfield Road meets US Route 35 marks the eastern end of Ohio Route 835; Research Parkway meets Fairfield Road a block north of that eastern interchange.
