Indiana State Route 43 is a designation that applies to two different segment of north-south highway in Indiana.  One such segment runs from Interstate 65, on the north side of Lafayette, north to Reynolds, where US Route 421 takes over the northbound roadway. The other segment of Indiana State Route 43 is a very jagged route running from State Route 46, at Spencer, south to Indiana State Route 54, at a point halfway between Bloomfield and Bloomington.

My photo for Indiana State Route 43 is a westbound junction marker on Indiana State Route 225, near the southern end of Indiana Route 43's northern segment.  This is just north of Interstate 65 and Lafayette.
