Ohio State Route 747 is a north-south alternate to Ohio Route 4 in northern parts of the Cincinnati metropolitan area. When I say that it's an alternate to Ohio Route 4, that means both ends of Ohio Route 747 occur at Ohio Route 4. The northern end is east of Hamilton but west of Monroe. While Ohio Route 4 is bending southwesterly toward Hamilton, Ohio Route 747 is taking a more direct route toward the south. It proceeds through an interchange with Ohio Route 129, and it continues through its own interchange with Interstate 275. It flanks the eastern side of Springdale, and ends at Ohio Route 4 where Glendale meets Woodlawn.
My photo for Ohio Route 747 signage shows this guide marker in the northeast corner of Springdale, curiously having a "Junction" banner on top of it. This signage faces west to serve eastbound travelers on Crescentville Road, a local road just north of Interstate 275. This photo was taken on the way home from Columbus in February, 2017 (I decided to take I-71 and I-74 rather than I-70 this time).
