Indiana State Route 225 is a short spur off of Indiana Route 43 just north of Lafayette, and it leads east into Battle Ground, Indiana, and Prophetstown State Park.  The route used to continue farther southeast to Indiana Route 25, which explains the number originally given to Indiana Route 225.
