Ohio State Route 664 is a north-south highway in areas southeast of Columbus. It runs in Fairfield and Hocking Counties. The northern end of Ohio Route 664 is at Ohio Route 256, just west of Ohio Route 13 and the village of Somerset. From there, Ohio Route 664 runs south to Logan. At Logan, Ohio Route 664 continues beyond US Route 33 to bend southwesterly through the Hocking Hills. The state highway comes out of the Hocking Hills facing southwesterly, to end after continuing a little while longer. The final culmination of Ohio Route 664 is a junction with Ohio Route 56 in the tiny hamlet of South Bloomingville.
My photo for Ohio Route 664 shows a northbound trailblazer at Hunter Street in Logan. Hunter Street is just north of the US Route 33 freeway, and it once carried US Route 33 before the freeway was built. The trailblazer still sits at the old site of US Route 33, probably because it was just grandfathered in. People turning away from Hunter Street toward the north will see the trailblazer in the photo. This photo was taken in April 2021, on the way to Virginia down the US Route 33 corridor.
