^Ohio Route 5 having just joined Ohio Route 7 south into Kinsman, October 2022.
Ohio State Route 5 is a northeast-southwest route in Trumbull and Portage Counties. The southwestern end of Ohio Route 5 is on the south side of Ravenna, at Interstate 76. The first piece of Ohio Route 5 is the same road Ohio Route 44 takes around the southeastern side of Ravenna as a bypass. On the east side of Ravenna, Ohio Route 5 splits from Ohio Route 44 and goes on its own way toward the east. Ohio Route 5 then reaches the Warren area, bypassing downtown Warren to the north. Ohio Route 5 continues northeast through Cortland and Kinsman, ending at the Pennsylvania border, where it becomes Pennsylvania Route 58.
My photo of Ohio State Route 5 signage comes from Kinsman, Ohio, where it is concurrent with Ohio Route 7. The signage actually sits at the southeastern corner of the central town square of Kinsman, directing eastbound travelers to turn left to stay on the state highway. This photo was taken in October 2022, during the grand tour around the northeastern quarter of Ohio. Back to Ohio Routes 1 through 99. Back to the Ohio main page. Back to the home page.
