Ohio State Route 184 is the northernmost east-west highway in the Toledo area, less than a mile from the Michigan state line. It treks ten miles west from Interstate 75 to the town of Sylvania. The western end is an odd situation where Ohio Route 51 converges with Ohio Route 184, right at a folded diamond interchange with US Route 23. That folded diamond interchange, just north of Interstate 475, is also the curious southern endpoint of US Route 223.
My photo of Ohio State Route 184 comes from a northern portion of Toledo, where US Route 24 crosses the state highway at a 4-way intersection. Northbound travelers on US Route 24 will see this junction marker, announcing the upcoming junction with Ohio Route 184. This is posted just south of the intersection. This photo was taken as I was driving around the Toledo area in October 2016. Back to Ohio Routes 100-199. Back to the Ohio main page. Back to the home page.
