^Looking east on Iowa 93 from US Route 63, near Tripoli, September 2019.
Iowa Route 93 is a fairly short east-west highway in near-northeastern Iowa, running from Fayette west to near Tripoli. The western end, near Tripoli, is at a point along US Route 63 about twenty miles north of Waterloo. The highway passes through Sumner before ending at Iowa Route 150 in Fayette, a town south of West Union. Because Iowa Route 188 starts at US Route 63 and heads west, running at the same latitude as most of Iowa Route 93, I don't know why Iowa Routes 93 and 188 don't have the same number.
My photo for Iowa Route 93 comes from the first eastbound trailblazer, by the intersection of Iowa Route 93 and US Route 63. The trip across northern Iowa in September 2019 gave me the opportunity to take this photo, and to clinch Iowa Route 93 from end to end. The tail end of the clinch put me at the junction of Iowa Route 93 and US Route 63, where I took this photo.
Here are some additional photos taken along Iowa Route 93:
