​Ohio State Route 728 is a very short access road to the Lucasville Prison, stemming from Lucasville to the east.  The western end is at US Route 23 in Lucasville, at an intersection that's also the eastern end of Ohio Route 348.  The reason why Ohio Routes 348 and 728 aren't simply the same route is anyone's guess.  The east end of Ohio Route 728 is only 2 miles to the east, at Lang Lane, a street running south along the eastern boundary of the prison property.
