Ohio State Route 741 is a north-south route near Interstate 75, between Dayton and Cincinnati. It's the main route serving Springboro; in fact, it's known as "Main Street" in Springboro. The northern end is a partial interchange leading to and from Interstate 75's northern continuation, in Moraine, Ohio. From this point, Ohio Route 741 runs south through other southern portions of the Dayton metropolitan area. It passes between Miamisburg and Centerville; after that, it runs through the center of Springboro. The highway becomes a bit more rural after that, until it reaches Mason. In Mason, it curls eastward for a couple miles, thence ending at Interstate 71. The interchange with Interstate 71 is known as one of the exits to King's Island, the main amusement park of southwestern Ohio.
My photo for Ohio Route 741 comes from its 4-way intersection with Ohio Route 725, just north of Springboro. Interchanges to Interstate 675 lie just south of here and also just east of here; Interstate 75 is just to the west. The guide marker in the photo faces east for westbound travelers on Ohio Route 725; it rests on a signal mast. This photo was taken in October 2018, as I was driving down from the Dayton area to southwestern Ohio.
