Indiana State Route 152 is a north-south route in Hammond, in extreme northwestern Indiana.  As US Route 41 heads north into Hammond, it joins Interstates 80 and 94 west to a new alignment a couple miles west, leaving Indiana Route 152 to head north in its wake.  Indiana Route 152 ends about two miles to the north at US Route 20.  Indiana Route 152's number doesn't fit the Indiana numbering scheme, but there's a reason for it this time: this stretch of roadway used to be a small piece of US Route 152 long, long ago.
