Ohio State Route 660 is a short route poking southwesterly out of the Cambridge area. The route begins at Ohio Route 209, just south of Interstate 70 and Cambridge. Ohio Route 660 sets out toward the southwest from there, for six miles. It ends at Ohio Route 313 just east of Ohio Route 83 and the unincorporated hamlet of Claysville.
My photo for Ohio Route 660 comes from the northeastern end near Cambridge. Ohio Route 209 runs south out of Cambridge, bending easterly into Byesville. At the bend, Ohio Route 209 intersects Ohio Route 660. The aperture looks west at a junction marker in advance of the turn onto Ohio Route 660. Ohio Route 209 is about to bend back toward the north and spawn the northern beginning of Ohio Route 660. This photo was taken in March 2021, during the tour of southeastern Ohio.
